BrightPath App Supplement
Specifically for the BrightPath mobile application, we collect minimal information required for personalized sensory regulation and tailored learning tracking metrics.
1. Information We Collect
Data is provided directly by the user or parent during the onboarding sequence. This information includes:
- Child's first name or unique nickname
- Grade level
- Focus areas and specific sensory preferences
2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
BrightPath is dedicated to protecting the privacy of children and individuals with neurodivergent needs. We do not collect personal data directly from children. Account configuration and onboarding steps must be completed entirely by a parent, teacher, or legal guardian. We do not sell, rent, or share any child-related data with third-party advertising networks or data brokers.
3. Data Use & Storage
Collected data is used strictly for core app functionality (to personalize sensory regulation paths) and secure internal analytics (to verify tool effectiveness and populate the secure Parent Portal profile view).
Data Deletion: BrightPath users maintain full ownership of their data and can instantly delete their entire account, active profile, and all associated child metrics via the "Profile" settings within the mobile application. Once requested, all associated server documents are permanently purged.
